Welcome to Quiet Knight

Quiet Knight, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) established in 2010 with a mission to provide assistance and aid to veterans and others in northeastern Indiana in times of immediate need or when other support organizations are unable to meet all of their needs.

We chose our name for specific reasons.

First, we are Quiet, we never advertise who we are assisting! If you are down on your luck, the last thing you need is everyone in the community knowing it.

Second, we chose Knight, to represent the fact that we are here to help when others can’t!

How Quiet Knight Works

Since Quiet Knight’s inception we have obtained the majority of our tangible item donations and funding through donations from veterans organizations, community organizations, local businesses, individuals, and locally sponsored fundraisers.

Furthermore, utilizing a volunteer workforce we are able to manage our costs and keep donations working for the benefit of the local community.

Quiet Knight strives to overcome the three barriers that face most non-profit organizations who provide assistance.

First, we only provide assistance within the four-county northeast Indiana area; so your donations are staying local.
Second, with the support of a fully volunteer workforce we are able to keep our regular operating costs low.
Third, we strive to review, process, and make a determination on assistance within 1 - 5 days of receiving a completed application for assistance.

Quiet Knight provides support to two categories of community members

Veterans resources to provide assistance to local veterans.
General resources to provide assistance to others in the community.

Quiet Knight operates solely on donations. Therefore, we are always in need of support. If you can, we ask that you please support your community! No donation is too small or too large, we graciously accept what you can afford to donate!
